Day Eighteen: 3 Minute Plays/Literary Movements

Today in class:

• We worked on drafting the 3 minute plays for three actors.
• We had a quiz on the reading from E.L. Doctorow, John Hersey, Sandra Cisneros and Amy Tan.
• We studied literary periods and their definitive qualities.
• We went over the format for the Unit 6/Cumulative test on Thursday of this week.
• We took a quiz on correct expressions in grammar.
  

Homework:

• Continue to prepare for the 3 minute plays-to be presented on Thursday.
  
• Begin reviewing for big test on Thursday.
  
• There will be a short quiz over literary movements (Naturalism, Realism, Modernism, Contemporary etc.) tomorrow-it will be multiple choice.
  
• Work on the grammar packet for tonight on commas. Do Exercises 10-15.
